Last time I did this, it was Dec 4, 2005. This time, I was up in NYC, playing doubles squash. Beth enlisted me to play the doubles tour this year and I was psyched to be back on the squash court after 17 years. I was up in NYC for a marathon training weekend with 4 games scheduled in two days and the possibility of even playing more! Naturally, this happened on Saturday morning, during our first game. I was running to the front of the court and heard a pop. I walked it off and played a couple more points until I made a move that gave me a sense that my knee was unstable with lateral movement. That was it. I walked off the court and spent the rest of the weekend under ice.
Swelling was slow to come, but then it never went away. I was able to walk, hobble, I mean and just like last time, it really did not hurt.
