Nov 17, 2014 - Ten days after surgery (the second week)

Milestone: I did squats and lunges in physical therapy!

Physical therapy today and I was walking better, did all the normal exercises and added squats and lunges! I do not remember doing squats and lunges so early last time. I tried finding a reference in my old blog, but could not find one. I was really surprised that I was able to do lunges. They are quite intricate with all the movement: launch foot out in front and land it flat, straight and not twisting your knee, put weight on it and then move more weight into it, stay for a second or so and then push back, landing your foot steady next to your other foot. Well, the first one I did holding on to make sure all the parts worked out. Yep, it was fine after that. But, it was certainly a mental challenge to convince myself it was all going to go as planned.
