I tore my ACL about 9 years ago and blogged about it. Now, I've done it again. This time the right knee. So, I thought it would be fun to blog again, collect more data and compare my recoveries. I hope this blog provides help to those of you out there in the same situation as me.
Nov 19, 2014 - 12 days after surgery (the second week)
Physical Therapy today and I got some new exercise. First, I was able to ride the bike on level 1. Yay! My heart rate was 77 when I started and 10 minutes later, 20 calories burned, my heart rate was 74. How is that possible? Okay, on to the new exercises: I worked on bending my knee and lifting while walking by having to walk over those little orange workout cones. Also, I did calf stretches standing against a wall vs. just the calf stretch sitting down. Progress on range of motion was good, but I did not get measurements.
